The News section of our website is to inform you about ASGA . Should any of you have an interest in something please advise Bruce Jones, Website Chair or me and we will try to bring you the story.
This week we would like to point out the method that Shawn Higgins uses to keep you aware of an upcoming event and if it might be delayed or canceled. On the heading area of the Home Page he can exchange the existing information and update you. For example, Shawn posted the following for the recent Kizer event:
On Sunday afternoon preceding an event if he sees weather in the forecast for Tuesday that threatens the event he will post on the home page and advise when you can check back for an update. He tries to make the call by Monday night, but if not possible he does so as early as possible on the Tuesday of the event. Tune in to our weather forecaster and Event Director Shawn Higgins to stay informed.
The event Tuesday at Morris Williams has a large sign-up and in fact the weather looks perfect for this time of year. You signed up now show up, play and have fun. Shawn will not likely post anything unless conditions change.
Have you noticed that the Grand Prix standings and Handicaps are staying current. You should thank Bill Burke and Bruce Jones when you get a chance. Great job Bill and Bruce!
