Annual Tournament Countdown

Summer is in full swing and that means that fall and football are just around the corner! And that also means we are also fast approaching the ASGA 2-day Annual Tournament.  The tournament is scheduled for September 22 and September 24 at Lions Municipal Golf Course.  Information on the tournament requirements and procedures can be found at Annual Tournament Information on page 3(section 7) of the document.  A key element is the requirement to have played in 5 tournaments

The scorecard you see above is one that the pros at the Morris Williams course showed ASGA officers as the proper way to keep one. They also showed some versions that were too ugly and too wrong, so much so as it would have been

Lions Results Correction

The Lions results for July 14 are corrected to show Carl Givens teamed with Eddie Nunez tied for second place in the first flight. (Previously, Chester Burks was erroneously listed as Eddie's partner).

Revised Results -- Morris Williams Individual Net Tournament July7, 2015

Revisions have been made to flights 2 and 3 in the Morris Williams results for the July 7, 2015 Individual Net tournament.  The revisions corrected errors from a mix up of scores and payouts in the data distributed by the course. Austin Parks&Rec credit listings reflect the corrected results.

The revised results may be viewed via the "2-M & Individual Events" link in the Results tab of the ASGA Status web page.  (Hint:  for easy access to recent results click the "Date" heading twice to sort in reverse order).

Clay Update
When will we ever get back to playing golf at Clay? The bad news and good news are the same; we will probably be able to play Clay sometime in August. According to a recent letter from Kevin Gomillion, an official for the recreational department, and obtained by ASGA Board member, Frank Segura, the recent rains have slowed work progress and hampered the growth of grass on the new greens. Morris Williams 6/23/15 Revised Results

Hole-by-hole analysis of results for handicapping purposes uncovered an error that affected the standing and payout in Flight #5 for the June 23, 2015 Total Net event at Morris Williams.

The updated results can be viewed by by clicking  "ASGA Status" on the above left of this page and then going to the Results tab of that page under 2015, 2-M and Individual Events.  Hint: click the "Data" heading twice to show the completed tournaments in descending order (last to first).

Revisions Pending--Lions Individual Net Results

A review of the hole-by-hole scores of the Lions results showed scoring errors that affected the payouts for Flights 1 and 6.  The adjusted scores and standings are listed below.  The full revision including proper payouts will be posted after reviewing with course personnel.
