Roy January wins 2nd Cleanest Scorecard award

     Roy January has had a good year. Even though Christmas is still around the corner, January has already wrapped up half of the Grand Prix Team Championship for 2015 and now has shown that he can win in other events other than golf. January's score-keeping skills were on display at Tuesday's first individual tournament of the year. The Lions golfing staff has chosen January as the winner of the cleanest

November 12, 2015

The meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM by ASGA President Wayne Patterson in the Lions Golf Course meeting room. There were nine members in attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Secretary-Treasurer Rufus Stanton, and approved as read by the members.

ASGA Dues Process revamped

(The following are the stated changes presented and implemented by the ASGA Board of Directors for 2016.)

     In order to improve the fiscal management and your golfing experience via the association it is necessary to make some changes to the existing registration process beginning with the 2016 Fiscal Year.

     First, be aware that the ASGA Fiscal Year is November 1 thru October 31. Most of the members don’t think about paying dues until January and some dues are still rolling in thru

Ed Edmunds wins bucket of balls for cleanest scorecard

     Ed Edmunds is the November 10th tournament cleanest scorecard winner. Edmunds was keeping the scorecard for Bob Remey and Bart Antle and it proved to be the best among a growing number of clean scorecards. ASGA members seemed to have caught on about keeping a clean readable scorecard as evidenced by the large number of contenders found in this week's tournament participants.
