Gomillion also stated in a letter to the ASGA, "We will not have any major opening ceremony. Just want to get the course back open as soon as it is ready. We completed the renovations to the driving range and planted on July 22nd. We should have the range back open sometime in late September. Once we re-open Jimmy Clay, we will start work on the Roy Kizer putting green. In addition, we will be working on the short course greens damaged in the flood. We anticipate that work will take approximately 2 weeks for construction and about 8 weeks for the grow in."
