Mythical All-Star Teams- Method and Madness

How does one pick East/West All-Stars? The answer: In the most difficult and confusing way possible. In this way the picker (that would be me) will have confused everyone so much that he (the picker) will not get the blame (or the fame) for his selections. Got it! Good! Now let me tell you the method.
Let me qualify this method in one respect. The handicaps of these players had no play in the selection process. All players were judged on how much and how often they contributed to their respective teams. With that said here is my process.

First, I decided that winning team members should be rewarded more than the losing members of a team. Then I decided that players would receive points for how well they did in assisting their team to a win.....or.... a loss. For being the best net scorer on the winning team a player would receive 25 points with the next best scorer getting 24 points and so on down the scores until there were no more points to give. So, disregarding ties and generally speaking, the winning team's players would have approximately 25 players getting points. On the other hand, the losing team would start with a high of 20 points assigned to the lowest scorer and go down from there. Clear so far......I know.... it's a little muddy but stay with me.
For each tournament a player entered and scored well, their points were totaled for the season (remember, only individual tournament results counted). Then I took those total points and divided them by the number of tournaments they entered to get an average for each player. To make it fair, I also included a rule for minimum tournaments played and that minimum was five tournaments. This way a player's contribution was both consistent and meaningful throughout the season. This rule left me with 49 possible East All-Star candidates and 50 possible West All-Star candidates.
I then ranked the two groups separately from the highest average to the lowest and it was a simple task for me to select the top 12 on each team as All-Stars. And here is the list for the East and for the West:
