Tommy Warner was a double winner in the ABCD team tournament held recently at the Morris Williams Golf Course. Warner and his team of Jim McKinney, Robert Amaro, and Don Davis not only finished first in the "D" bracket of the ABCD tournament but Warner won the Cleanest Scorecard Contest as well.
The winner of the contest is picked by the team that actually sees the cards first at the course. This team is led by David Woodberry at Morris Williams. "David called me with the results and said that the overall scorecards were very good this week and made for one of the earliest turnarounds since the contest began." said Travis McWorther, ASGA Vice-President and the chairperson of the contest committee.
The goal of the contest is to make the cards accurate and easy to get into the system which results in the winners of the tournament being posted quickly on our ASGA website. Spread the word. Keep the cards even cleaner as we go. It is good for the game and it makes it more fun and profitable, with a free bucket of range balls.
