Lee Jefferson wins Cleanest Scorecard Contest at Jimmy Clay

Lee Jefferson may have had his golfing problems at the Annual BBQ Two-Man Select Shot tournament on Tuesday but he took care of his playing companions' scorecard in a very professional and efficient manner. Jefferson, playing with partner Sam Mathews, was keeping the scorecard of the team of Charles Kelly and Waymon McLamb. Jefferson did a top job with the scorecard earning him the award of one free bucket of range balls at his next tournament.

The award is given out for each tournament and the winner is picked by the clubhouse crew in conjunction with the head golf professional. The award has shown tremendous success as each week the scorecards get better and better. This makes the work of the Tournament Chairman, Bob Remey, the golf course personnel, and the ASGA Handicap Chairman, Paul Redden, much easier.
