McWhorter and Visness top the GP Team standings

     Travis McWhorter and Don Visness have surged to the lead in the Team GP standing after high finishes in recent tournaments. McWhorter and Visness have 132 points and are only 2.5 points ahead of former leaders, Chester Burks and Roy January. With only one tournament remaining these two teams will be battling it out for the team championship next week at Lions.
     In third place is the team of Robert Stojanik and Ben Taylor with 117.5 points. Stojanik and Taylor have an outside chance at the championship if the first two teams slip in the last tournament. Alton Franklin and Wayne Patterson
are currently in fourth place with 97 points followed by Eddie Nunez and Carl Givens with 93.5 points. Chasing Nunez and Givens is the team of Bob Chapa and Tommy Warner with 93 points.
     Rounding out the top ten in the team standing are LD Washington and Troy Collins in 7th position with 92.5 followed by Jerrwood Marshall and Ray Harper at 91.5. Dale French and Terry Rodriguez sit in ninth place and will be trying to move into the top five before the championship season is over. French and Rodriguez have 91 points while holding off the number ten team, John Hirsch and Terence Donovan, who have 90 points.
